Amanda and Derek were married April 14th, 2018 at The Hermitage Museum and Gardens in Norfolk, VA and what a fairy tale day it was. They had an outdoor ceremony that included lots of love, tacos, and happiness.

Yes, that’s right. They are so cool and awesome that they snuck away to eat tacos together after the ceremony. If that isn’t true love, then I don’t want to know what is! These two are genuinely two of the happiest, most loving people out there, who really connect with one another in a way that is so special for even wedding photographers to witness. I know you’ll be able to tell just by looking at the photos how true that is and how perfect they are for one another.

The reception was set so beautifully under string lights and near the water . And you want to talk about dance moves?! Wait until you see the photos of some MAJORLY AWESOME moves.

Amanda had some great advice for all the future brides and grooms out there. She started with this quote “Don’t worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.” and then said that if you’re going to stress beforehand, don’t stress the day of. Without telling one another, her and Derek both decided that what will be, will be, and to their knowledge, everything turned out absolutely perfect.

So all in all, plan your wedding how you want it, but go with the flow the day of because all that truly matters is that you are getting to marry your very best friend!
